"DIRT" Video by Thrown Clear

Local Vegas band "Thrown Clear" has it video "DIRT'' out. Such a great song! My only complaint about the whole album is that I can't stop listening to it and there aren't 30 tracks! That's how much I love their music!!!!

A holiday gift....

This was done as a holiday gift for a friend at work, by request. A sketch was originally done on paper yet my scanner and computer are on the fritz!! So I did this line drawing completely digital in Manga Studio EX 4.0. Turned out better than the original.

99& of the awesomeness in this picture comes from the AMAZINGLY talented Adam Kubert. The Kubert Family are idols of mine so when I was this piece and learned a neat coloring tip for line work like this, in PS CS3, I new I had to atleast lay down some flats.

This is a piece done at the behest of one Bud LaRosa! That's right! Legendary Inkest Bud LaRosa of Neckros Studios Inc. http://nekros-studios-inc.deviantart.com/ he was interested in my process. So I went with a character I'd never drawn before!


Here is a pic of Batman done by the overly talented David Finch. His pencils on this pic are astounding! This was inked in by myself in Manga Studio. I love that program!
This one I got done in a few hours, mostly because my internet was down for a couple weeks!

Only a year younger than I, taught me alot about Photoshop!

One day, I forget when or how it came about, but Rob challenged me to make myself into Captain Kirk! So I put on the timer held a pellet gun at camera and held my gut in a bit.
And after the magic of Photoshop and Google imaging, voila!!
And Rob did the one above in a semi similar fashion!

I love this! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Vince totally got the feel of Moon Knight on this. The stock photo background is totally appropriate. This one gives me a feel that he's gonna advance to new levels, quickly!!!! (Line art by me)

but Vince totally rocked the house on the colors on this!And the double image in the background with the color filter is a nice touch!

A Little More For Yo @$$!!!

Goddamn but who doesn't love Bruce Campbell?!?!
He's the best. Met him years ago at the signing of his
autobiography, flirted with my girl, totally awesome.
Dedicated his book to me.
This was done as part of my Deviant Art TV Rush
This is the SAM AXE Character.



Now this is an involved story. The Nightwing on the left was
done on video. That, if I don't get a decent movie maker, might not
see the light of day. 45 min long. need some trims and such.
The other was done out of frustration. And wanting a more dynamic pose.
I tried to tap into my inner Scott McDaniel on that one. Love that guy!



This piece was also done as a Deviant TV Rush.
For the show Smallville. This is a VERY Stylized version of
Clark Kent from said show. I was trying to go a bit looser and
was channeling Mr. Sean "CHEEKS" Galloway. Hope ya dig!


And yet again with the Deviant TV Rushes.
This time is my rendition of the lovable killer
Dexter. This was kinda tough, since I've never seen
the show only seen still pics. I hope I got the spirit of the
character. My fans on DA seem to dig it!

Just giving you a heads up this is my 1st blog! EVER! So please be gentle!
I've kinda been wanting to start one of these things but never thought I'd be that "type" of guy. But you know what? WHAT THE HELL!!! You only live once. And I don't want to say " I should have done that! Damn It!!"
So here I am.
I'll more than likely be posting art work....did I mention I fancy myself as an artist?...Comic book style mostly. Pen & Ink, Photoshop CS3 (fer now)
